crenya ai

Licence.

crenya ai is a Mac app published by Crenya Technologies LLP. Using it means agreeing to the crenya terms of service — this page says what those terms mean for the app in front of you, and links to them.

The terms that apply

One document governs crenya ai, the crenya account it signs in to and the models it runs: the crenya terms of service. They cover accounts, plans and payment, acceptable use, availability and liability, and they are the terms your account already agreed to. Read them there; they are maintained in one place so nothing on this site can quietly contradict them.

What you may do with the app

You may install and use crenya ai on your own Macs with your crenya account. What the app can do for you — how much of the agent you can run in a month — is set by your plan's credit allowance, which your console shows, and not by this download. The terms ask you not to resell API access or to work around usage metering and rate limits.

Your code stays yours

crenya claims no ownership of the code you write, index or generate with crenya ai. What the app sends to the models, what is stored when you index a codebase, and how to delete it are in the privacy policy. AI output can be wrong — review generated code before you rely on it.

Open-source software in this app

crenya ai is built on open source. The editor is a fork of Code - OSS, built through VSCodium, and the agent it ships with comes from the MIT-licensed Kilo Code and opencode projects. Their licences apply to those parts, and their copyright notices travel with the code. Extensions come from the Open VSX registry and are licensed by whoever published them.

Payment, renewal and refunds

A plan is a one-time purchase for its period unless you turn on auto-renew, which you can cancel at any time from the console. Payments are processed by Razorpay, prices are in INR, and GST is not charged (supplier not registered) — receipts are payment receipts, not tax invoices. See the refund policy.

Who publishes it
